He is the ultimate rockstar, with a career spanning on over 4 decades. He is also renowned for his controversial stage shows, in which elements such as guillotines, fake blood, electric chairs, boa constrictors and baby dolls are being used. He draws these elements from horror movies and vaudeville, which explains his attraction to Dark Shadows. Dark Shadows is an American horror comedy film released in 2012. The movie is based on the Gothic horror soap opera of the same name that aired between 1966 and 1971. Dark Shadows is directed by who else, than Tim Burton, the ultimate Hollywood director when it comes to original movies.

And since it is directed by Tim Burton, it comes as no surprise that it stars Johnny Depp. Depp portrays a 200-year-old imprisoned vampire who is set free and comes back to his ancestral home, where he comes across his dysfunctional descendants. The beautiful Michelle Pfeiffer also stars in Dark Shadows. Enough about the movie, though. You are probably wondering how is it connected to Cooper. Well, the rockstar makes an appearance in the movie, portraying himself. He is summoned by the vampire to perform at Colinwood Manor and he performs No More Mr. Nice Guy. He can also be seen in the trailer of the movie. Director Tim Burton said that Cooper was the perfect choice, since the action of the movie is set back in 1972. Fans will get to reminiscence about the glory days of the rockstar and to see him perform one of his most successful songs.

They will not only get to see him perform in the movie, though. Alice Cooper made a spectacular appearance at the premiere of Dark Shadows. He and the legendary band Aerosmith performed together on the stage at the official premiere and joined forces to give a recital that will surely go down in history. After all, two of the most prominent names of rock music do not perform together on stage all the time. Together with Cooper, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry performed the songs Come Together and Whole Lotta Love. The crowd went crazy and everybody wanted to hear more. And we sure hope to be hearing more from Cooper, given the fact that Aerosmith are currently working on a new album, after a 10-year break. Be that as it may, we are surely happy that Dark Shadows brought Alice Cooper back in the spotlight.

Alice Cooper, born Vincent Damon Furnier, is one of the most famous American rock singer, songwriter and musician whose career spans over a period of more than four decades. Alice Cooper has always been known for his eccentricity on stage and for his wild concerts. The stage shows of Alice Cooper included guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, boa constrictors and baby dolls. Alice Cooper has drawn his inspiration from horror movies, vaudeville and garage rock to pioneer a grandly theatrical and violent brand of heavy metal designed to shock.

Behind this tough and shocking façade, Alice Cooper is actually a very nice and sensitive guy, who enjoys life and the company of his family. Believe it or not, Alice Cooper is a huge fan of the Simpsons. The creators of the show asked Alice Cooper to contribute a storyline for the September 2004 edition of Bongo Comics’s Bart Simpson’s Treehouse of Horror, a special Monsters of Rock issue that also included stories plotted by Gene Simmons, Rob Zombie, and Pat Boone. The story of Alice Cooper featured Homer Simpson being a Jason Voorhees, Friday the 13th killer and Alice and the citizens of Springfield are being stalked by Homer.

In 2005, Alice Cooper had given a wide-ranging interview with interviewer of celebrities Andrew Denton for the Australian ABC Television’s Enough Rope. Alice Cooper discussed various issues during the interview, that ended up being a very frank talk about his life on and off the stage. Alice Cooper talked about his acute alcoholism and his subsequent cure, being a Christian, and his social and work relationship with his family.

Another interesting fact about Alice Cooper that few people know, is that he loves playing golf. Alice Cooper claims that golf has played a major role in helping him to overcome his addiction to alcohol, and that he replaced one addiction with the other. The importance that the game has had in his life is also reflected in the title to his 2007 autobiography, Alice Cooper, Golf Monster. Alice Cooper is a very interesting person of the rock music industry.

Alice Cooper is one of the rock legends we all know and love. Born Vincent Damon Furnier, he legally changed his name to Alice Cooper in 1974. With a career spanning on more than 4 decades, Alice Cooper is still famous for his exuberant shows, in which electric chairs, snakes, boa constrictors, simulated blood and guillotines are regular props. Alice Cooper entered the limelight in 1964, when he participated in the local annual letterman’s talent show and started the band The Earwigs. Later on, he changed the name of the band into Alice Cooper and adopted this stage name as his own, as well. In 1975, Alice Cooper began his solo career and released his first solo album, Welcome to My Nightmare.

Dozens of albums and singles later, Alice Cooper is still one of the most renowned music personalities of all time. While his career has always been on the spotlight, there are still many interesting facts that people do not know about Alice Cooper. For example, few people know that Alice Cooper wears a silver bracelet on his left hand and that only his wife, Sheryl, possesses the key that can get that bracelet removed. In the mid to late 70s, Alice Cooper was part of the exclusive Hollywood club Hollywood Vampires. In 1998, Alice Cooper opened a restaurant in downtown Phoenix, called Cooperstown. His tours are famous worldwide, but few people know that one of the tour’s dancers and actors is his own daughter, Calico Cooper.

Despite his tough look and horror outfits, it may be hard to believe that Alice Cooper is a huge fan of Kylie Minogue, the famous Australian pop star. Alice Cooper is also a fan of The Simpsons. He also enjoys collecting cars and antique watches, but his number one hobby is definitely golfing. He has even participated in numerous celebrity golf tournaments. Alice Cooper was born and raised in Detroit, so when a fan threw a live chicken on stage during a show in the 1970s, Alice Cooper believed that the chicken could fly, so he tossed it into the air and the poor thing went straight down into the crowd. As you can see, there is so much more to Alice Cooper than what is being said in the media.

One of the most famous and most controversial names in the musical industry of rock is Alice Cooper. Alice Cooper is an American rock singer, songwriter, and musician whose career spans on a period of more than four decades. Alice Cooper is one of those artists that really knows how to make a show on stage. Most of his shows include guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, boa constrictors and baby dolls. Alice Cooper has drawn equally from horror movies, vaudeville and garage rock to pioneer a grandly theatrical and violent brand of heavy metal designed to shock.

Before going solo, Alice Cooper was originally a band consisting of Vincent Damon Furnier on vocals and harmonica, lead guitarist Glen Buxton, Michael Bruce on rhythm guitar, Dennis Dunaway on bass guitar and drummer Neal Smith. The original Alice Cooper band broke into the international musical mainstream with the 1971 hit I’m Eighteen, from the album Love it to Death. Vincent Damon Furnier started adopting the name of the band as his own and released his first solo album Welcome to my Nightmare. Expanding from his original Detroit rock roots, over the years Alice Cooper has experimented with many various musical styles, including conceptual rock, art rock, hard rock, New Wave, pop rock, experimental rock and industrial rock.

Alice Cooper is known for his social and witty persona off-stage. The Rolling Stone Album Guide has called him the world’s most beloved heavy metal entertainer. Alice Cooper is credited with helping to shape the sound and look of heavy metal. He is also regarded as being one of the artists who introduced the horror image of rock and roll. The stagecraft and showmanship have permanently transformed the genre. Aside from the musical image Alice Cooper displays, he is also a golfing celebrity, a restaurateur and since 2004 a popular radio DJ, with his classic rock show Nights With Alice Cooper. In 2011, Alice Cooper was honoured with a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

When reading the most interesting facts about Alice Cooper’s life and career, there is no way you will not be able to find out some things about his personal issues history. And like numerous other rock starts who have been able to achieve huge worldwide fame and an impressive level of recognition for the work in the music industry, Alice Cooper has had his problems with substance abuse. With millions of fans all around the world, Alice Cooper has not been able to avoid scandals. Still, Alice Cooper was the one to ask for help to overcome his substance abuse problems.

So, the star decided to tell his band members that he needed help after being submitted to treatment for alcohol addiction, in 1977. Still, after a while, Alice Cooper repealed, event that took place in 1981. 1986 was the year when Alice Cooper acknowledged his personal issues and asked for support, once again. This time, the treatment helped him overcome his own issues, and Alice Cooper actually decided to work to help others in need. So, he offered support and counsel to many other rock stars who found themselves in the need of overcoming their own substance abuse issues. Alice Cooper actually claimed that helping others has become almost like a purpose for him. And so, he began sharing his own experience with other rock star friends, who were experiencing the same issues as he did.

In fact, helping others was part of Alice Cooper’s own recovery process. During the many interviews that Alice Cooper has offered throughout the years, linked to this problem, the famous star claimed that the addition to alcohol is an issue you can not control and you can never see it coming. The rock star has always been very open in talking about this personal issue and his recovery, thing that probably has helped him in remaining committed to the treatment. Alice Cooper explained his choice to be open to the public about this issue through the fact that since he drank in front of the public eye, he might as well stay sober under the same conditions. Luckily, Alice Cooper has always been stronger than his addiction and now the star is proud to say that more than 30 years passed since the moment when he last drank.

Alice Cooper is probably one of the best known names in the music industry, famous for his eccentricity and unique appearances. The real name of Alice Cooper is Vincent Damon Furnier, and he was born on February 4, 1948, in Detroit Michigan. Under all that make up and bad boy attitude, Alice Cooper is just another ordinary man, with hobbies and a wonderful family.

In terms of music, the music of Alice Cooper has a lot of influences, from classic to contemporary rock. This is what makes his music so unique and great. Although he is not young anymore, Alice Cooper can still rock it like the best of the stars. This 62 year-old rocker can still make the crowds go wild and jump up and down. People have been listening to the music of Alice Cooper for decades, and he is still today one of the best artists in the rock industry.

Surely, his most famous song is Poison, released in 1989 and featured on his album, Trash. There are two versions of the video which shows Alice Cooper being chained to a bizarre mechanism and singing his lungs out, while a ghostly woman looms over him. The original video had to be banned, due to the high degree of nudity involved at the time. The song Poison has been covered by many artists. Like many other rock artists, Alice Cooper himself was involved in drug scandals and has even underwent a rehab program. Now that Alice Cooper is clean, he is helping and counseling other rock musicians who are struggling in the battle against drug abuse and alcohol. Alice Cooper has interesting views on religion and politics as well. Although he is considered as a very weird person by many, Alice Cooper is actually a very religious person and claims that politics and religion should never be mingled with rock music. Surely enough, Alice Cooper will continue to rock on for many years to come.

Born Vincent Damon Furnier on February 4, 1948, famous American rock singer, songwriter and musician Alice Cooper has a career that has stood the test of time. In fact his career spans over four decades. If you’ve ever had the privilege of attending one of his stage shows, you were probably both shocked and amazed at his use of guillotines, fake blood, electric chairs, snakes such as boa constrictors and even baby dolls being used as gruesome props.

Alice Cooper is the epitome of heavy metal shows designed to shock. In the beginning Alice Cooper was a band that was made up of Furnier on lead vocals and harmonica, Glen Buxton as lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist Michael Bruse, Dennis Dunaway on bass guitar and Neal Smith on drums. The groups first hit was the 1971 song “I’m Eighteen” from the album “Love It To Death. After that came the huge hit “Schools Out” in 1972. Their 1973 album “Billion Dollar Babies” propelled the group to commercial status.

In 1975 Furnier assumed the band’s name as his own stage name when he released his concept album “Welcome to My Nightmare.” Over the years, Cooper has released solo albums in several different musical styles such as art rock, new wave, hard rock and pop rock just to name a few. Most seem him as the world’s most beloved heavy metal entertainer. He played a huge role in shaping the look and sound of heavy metal rock and introduced horror imagery to rock n’ roll totally transforming the music industry.
